Check Me Out

I couldn't leave without telling you all that Carter has a tooth! I'm not sure when it broke through, I didn't even know there was one close, but we just noticed there is a sharp little point poking through his gums.

He is the youngest to get a tooth of any of my boys. Monte and Hunter were 11 months. (late teeth run in my family) He wasn't crabby or anything! Let's hope this keeps up. His brothers never were.

So many things happening. Watch, by the time I come back he'll be crawling.....

It's Done

Our house is finally done, so we are moving on Saturday. We are all very excited and can't wait to have more room. Living in a 800 sq. foot duplex for the past 7 months (we sold our old house before we starting building this one so we wouldn't end up with 2 mortgages) has really made all of us appreciate our personal space.

The down side to all this is that we will not have internet for 2 weeks. I might go crazy! Haha!! But I will try and steal away to a friends house to check up on all you at some point. But if not....I will be back!

I can't believe it. I had no idea, but I was nominated for a Share the Love Blog Award. Happiest Blog! I've seen this symbol on other peoples blogs, and decided to check it out. I never expected to see my blog on there. But I am very honored, and thank you to whoever nominated me!

Frosty - Take Two

Hunter had a project for school this week. Make a snowman. No directions, except no snow, everything is up to you. I had visions of a cute styrofoam snowman, but frankly, I'm not that creative. The only thing I could think of was gluing cotton balls on construction paper as a kid. So we tried to put a better spin on it. And Hunter was able to do a lot of this himself. I don't think we did TOO bad. He had a lot of fun and was proud to show it off at school.

And oh, he is Student of the Month! Something he has been working hard for the entire year.

For those that asked, Carter's rash didn't get better, it got worse. So I took him to the doctor earlier in the week and it's eczema. Thanks to the recommendation from Ashlee we are trying the Calendula Cream from California Baby. I am also exploring the idea that this could be food related. There are some food sensitivities in my husbands family. So for now I am omitting dairy.

And speaking of Ashlee, if you haven't checked out her new sling business, you should. I have seen one in person and they are beautiful and so well made. I can't wait to own the Chocolat one!

But for the rest of this afternoon, I am going to enjoy the quiet of my house. My husband has taken my two oldest ice fishing. It's only like 8 degrees outside, but he says it gets warm in the shanny with his little heater. I am going to take their word for it, and stay snuggled up in the house with the baby today.
